COVID Cases Make a Startling Spike in Taiwan
The island of Taiwan has seen surprisingly low numbers of COVID-19 cases over the last year and a half. In part, this was due to fast actions taken by the government to close down and keep the virus out. However, cases have started to spike. As vaccines begin to filter throughout the world, Taiwan still hasn’t managed to secure enough vaccines – until now. Entrepreneurs and countries like the US have made promises to deliver vaccines to the Taiwanese people hopefully soon.

As New York City starts its primary election for mayor, residents have a tough choice to make. Unlike any other city in the world, New York is home to serious wealth. This money talks, especially during elections. Super PACs funded by the rich and powerful give major sway to those candidates being supported.
